戸隠流 Kataude Tonsou Kata

We went over Kata Ude Tonsou Kata from Togakureryu.

This technique uses the Shukou to take Takiori. 

        Sensei said that "back in the day" he and his training partner used real Shukou once when doing this technique.  Sensei was the uke and though the tori applied the Shukou lightly, when the tori jerked back he ripped huge gouges in Sensei's wrist.
