Takagiyoshin 高木揚心流

Sensei commented while we were doing Ichimonji no Kata from zagamae, on the proper way to receive a punch in the Takagi school.

" While Kotoryu has a lot of Uke Nagashi and Gyokoryu has strikes to Hoshi and so on, Takagiyoshin uses a strong Nagashi.  Not a strike but a definite Nagashi."

me-"So, halfway between Kotoryu and Gyokoryu?"  

Sensei "Yes."
