Dojo Improvements: Trophies



Sensei mounted these arrows on the wall the other day.  I asked him about them and he said that they were arrows that had been struck directly on the end by the next arrow, an extremely rare occurrence.  Only if the force of the next arrow is precisely on the back of the arrow in front will it stick in.  Typically an arrow will glance off to the side.  Arrows that are damaged in such a way become a kind of trophy to practitioners of Kyudo.
